Hi all,
My ugadi leave is over and i'm here again in office!!!
But this was the most hectic vacation of mine. Stayed in house for the least amount of time and travelled more.
I had been to SDMCET and saw the jaw-dropping changes there. The old road was tarred and nicely laid now. I could find footpath and the only thing missing was a traffic light!!
The faastfood is now called "AHLAAD" food court and gives a typical PUNJABI DHABA look to us..Met Akshays, Ammu,My sis et al and had real fun there.Fantasia is on Apr1 and i cant attend it!! Man!!! work sux...Yes ,it seriously does..
And the best part of my vacation was our school get-together in GOKAK. Well to tel more about this town ..it is a taluka place in Belgaum District. Boasts of having 2 beautiful falls..Gokak falls and Godachinamalki falls..Both are eye catching. yogikol is another place which attracts people. But what attracted me was the get-together. It was arranged on 28th of April and thanks to all who rubbed their asses to make it a huge success..
Can u ppl imagine...we were more than 60 in number and meeting after 8 long years!! 60 is not a bad number at all...
As soon as i entered Gokak i was stunned at it's changed looks...wide roads, traffic signals, sign boards and the people havnt changed at all..
Was too too too excited to meet all of them and went to Gokak resort where the party was arranged. As soon as i parked the vehicle i saw Tejesh and group comin at the same time.Tejech was famous as "Bandal Naagya" (one who bluffs for every possible thiong) and could see patel, vaichav,Arun,Mahesh, sreedhar, sunil, rohit, swami and all those gals ...ashwini,Geeta,Sharada,snehal,sabiha,bhagya,rashmi et al..
The most beautifukl (For ME) was Bhagya...Or may be i dint expect her to look as gorgeous as she was!!! Now i've a crush on her ;-) (Hope bhagya reads this!!).
Then we had a drive to mahatma gandhi stone..had nice talk there and then back to resort..
Then slowly entered Mahindrakar madam...The head mistress of our school!!!! As beautiful as she was..8 years has not changed her at all.. and the best part is she still remembers me!! Though i dint complete my 10th in that school.!!!Thanks for that ma'am...
Then PY PATIL sir ..he remembers me too....Then vannur and Nayak sir entered. Nayak was the best...He taught us Kannada but we had every sort of fun in his class....Chidanand Latti,The most notorious of all the students was present there too...
he shouted and made every possible sounds in Nayak sir's class and the ultimate sufferers were Tejesh and I!! Latti never kept laughing after the pranks but we couldnt control our laughter...So we were beaten every time!!!
And met kaladgi and he is probably the one who has not changed at all...not physically...in his behaviour too!!!
nayak sir sang a song..By D.R.Bendre and we relived his class again by shouting!!!
By then even Shishir and Shivya had come from chikodi and had fun with them as well!!!
So ultimately it was a day to be remembered!!!
Will miss them for a long time!!
Then evening i had to drive back to dwd...And all the time i was thinking of the day i spent...every moment was so refreshing...So good...amit's murgod's acting, their confessions, Latti's pranks, Akshay Shetty's LATAN MAHARAJ reaction!! oh god..i sang the song , a bit aloud, "BAAR BAAR AATI HAI MUJHKO, MADHUR YAAD BACHPAN TERI, GAYA LE GAYA TU JEEVAN KI SABSE MADHUR KHUSHI MERI"...
Thanks once again to all the organizers who made it a great success and keep doing such things atleast once in a year...!!!
Thanks again,
Bye

INDIA NEEDS A LEADER LIKE THIS - FOR SURE
The views of Patriotic Australian Prime Minister
India Needs A Leader Like This!
Prime Minister John Howard - Australia
Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.
Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'
'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'
'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'
'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'
'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'
'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'
'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'
Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, Indian citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

Finally.......INTO BOSCH!!!!!!!
Finally into BOSCH!!!!!!!!!
How did I make through rb?? I sometimes ask this quest to myself. And that is when I go to that day. That day when more than 500 students from all over north karnataka had assembled at sdmcet and I was there too. But not to write the exam or attend the interview but to help as a volunteer. Poor students will have a tough time in finding places at sdmcet.(It took 2 yrs for me to find the right spot in the right way…I applied shortest path algorithm!!!)…Ther was a ppt held at ccf seminar hall and it was jam-packed with the aspirants. But poor harsha was not interested at all. He stood there near the stone bench chattin and making fun of hula(Sandeep doddaballapur is his 'father-kept-name'!!!) he had got the koining date on 7th of july…the earliest of all. And he was the ;ast to get placed in our group. And suddenly all started shouting "yeee,,,bare written anta le Ppa…" so I thought y not give it a shot…and mind said yes.
So now the next important job was to find a pen!!! And for all such things there is one person who has been supporting me…yes…Keerti bai…my best frnd and the strongest…(lol..my left hand is numb already)…so I managed to get a pen very easily…and finally I was in the ccd seminar hall to write the exam…
I had almost forgotten that there is a language called c and aptitude was at the lowest level.but who cares??? Who is gonna join bosch??? "hanga mushkiri le ppaaaa…." is wat I said to keerti and she was pretty serious about it. She sat besides me. So finally the exam started.
50% c :-( and 50% aptitude :-/ ….i was not worried at all, coz one thing kept swiping through my mind.."bosch yara hogtar le ppaaaa"…
So I started marking and I seriously donno wat I was doin…and after an hour I was outta my chair…
And forgot bosch..
So started worrying again for the recession and no openings….and thought of writing elitmus..wrote it too (btw this was after a month I wrote RB exam) But the paper went horrible. And was narrating this to kodihalli and pai (yes the head F***** pai) at majestic and slowly we went to garuda mall.. Were lunching there and I got a call from banglore number…I sasid "HELLO" and that was a call from bosch….and then I faced the interview and then right now I'm here. In my cubicle…in a german company bosch.. In it's eos2 department. And I remember the day when I said "bosch yaar hogtaar le ppaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "….

Akhil Babu's letter to INDIAN RAILWAYS!!!!
Friends,
Communiction has no barriers.I realised it when i went to TamilNadu.I knew nothing of TAMIL and they dint know a bit of either english, hindi or kannada...So i was using all my dumb charades skills to communicate.I was really frustrated with them...Trust me u'll go crazy....And one day while i was checking my mail..This is what i saw....Go ahead and read it.. And u'll ROTFL....
Akhil Chandra Sen wrote this letter to the Sahibganj divisional railway office in 1909. It is on display at the Railway Museum in New Delhi. It was also reproduced under the caption Travelers' Tales" in the Far Eastern Economic Review.
"I am arrive by passenger train Ahmedpur station and my belly is too much swelling with jackfruit. I am therefore went to privy. Just I doing the nuisance that guard making whistle blow for train to go off and I am running with lotah in one hand and dhoti in the next when I am fall over and expose all my shocking to man and female women on platform. I am got leaved at Ahmedpur station.
This too much bad, if passenger go to make dung that dam guard not wait train five minutes for him. I am therefore pray your honor to make big fine on that guard for public sake. Otherwise I am making big report to papers."
Any guesses why this letter was of historic value?...............................It apparently led to introduction of toilets in trains.
(I repeat again..Language is no barrier when it comes to expressing thoughts....)

Am I ADDICTED??? I asked myself
How addicted…
Ganja held, cocaine held, suspects arrested,
Fagging in public banned….but who gives a damn..i Still enjoy being an exhaust pipe…
Statutory warning: Cigarette smoking is injurious to health….
Blah Blah Blah……
I used to blame many people for smoking in public, about their addictions and the most important thing..Not being able to control their minds from addictions…
BUT…
What is addiction????…yesterday night I gave it a thought…. To be frank, from a few days I’m feeling the need of browsing the net freely…Exploring my old, struck-0-philic computer at dharwad...opening my folder…checking my inbox for a pretty long 30 minutes….downloading movies….ahhh….when will I get those days back??
I was feeling so damn restless and wanted it badly…. But alas....i’m here..alone…800Km away from all my beloved ones….and rubbing my A** for my daily bread….
And suddenly I thought... is this how a smoker feels after staying away from cig for a long time…or is this how a druggy feels at rehab centres??? And if that is addiction and we blame it…What is this?? What was the feeling I just felt???
So after a lot of "tumbling-of-thoughts" in my mind, I defined addiction as a mental desire…
And then onwards I felt either I should stop my addiction or stop feeling irritated about the druggists and the faggers…Afterall it’s the mind which matters and not the cause…
But ofcourse…the latter 2 are injurious but mine is mentally stressful….so I’ve not yet decided which one is to be stopped…But will stop one of the two…blaming them or missing home…..That’s for sure….
P.S: I really don’t know why I’m writing this.

Treksperiencing the VELLINGIRI HILLS.....
Check out the snaps after reading...
http://picasaweb.google.com/nhegdes/Vellangiri#
It’s been about a week my life in Coimbatore has started and I’m already getting bugged of it’s heat and stink….but trust me..If u look around once u’ve got ample number of places to visit and all are very much affordable (let aside much hyped ooty, kodaikanal and munnar). This Vijaydasahmi we planned a trek to vellingiri malai( vellingiri hills) and this was my first trip after getting coimbatored…and I was really in need of one to relax myself. So as per the plan we left Coimbatore at 8:30 am and reached the foothills of vellingiri hills at about 9:30am. And everybody in the office started laughing when we said vellingiri malai.. cos it is supposed to be a very difficult trek and an exhaustive one too…Even the taxi driver started laughing when we said we’ll climb vellingiri…
That made us more broken and we thought of climbing it half (But to be frank we dint know how much of the hill is half!!!!)
So some basic facts about Vellingiri. There are 7 hills we gotta climb and on top of the 7th hill lies the shiva temple. All that we knew was that and we went to climb it…
At the foothills we stood and clicked some photographs to mark the starting of the trek. And every check point we had to click one. We started as a team of 12. And as and when we started climbing slowly but steadily we felt it’s gonna be a tough task as it was just too rocky and dry without much greenery and full of scorching sun and no blowing wind.Vrashabh gave up very early at about a few hundred steps and we bade him goodbye. So we were 11 now!!! And the whole team was broken and divided based upon their speeds and capacity. The first hill was done after 1hr 15mins of rigorous climbing and we rested for a while. And seven more to go!!!! Was scary…And then slowly Yathish and Horatti gave up…and thus went on our trek..willing to see the top but no fluid left in our body. Nor in our water bottles!!!!
And after a rigorous climb of about 3.5 hours we had managed to see the peak of the 7th hill from a long distance. Or to be precise from the peak of 4th hill….thereby the other 6 people gave up and it was me,Narayan and Aslam still to have some fluid and guts left in us to climb the 7th hill. We dint want to go back when we have invested so much of our energy and time. And above all, we were so close to our destination. It was visible!!!
We decided to climb and started towards 7th peak at 1:00pm. With literally nothing in our body and few bottles of water in our bags.
And now started the real trek. Now I started to realize how impossible it is to conquer the nature. And how impossible it was to reach the top. Trust me…every ten steps I had to rest for 3 minutes. And this went on till we reached the top.Every step was like climbing a hill in itself.and every step was sucking lots of energy from my body and every step was filling my mind with more determination….And finally at one point I heard Aslam shouting hhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…….And I rejoiced as I was only a few steps away from him…HE HAD REACHED THE TOP!!!!!!
And the sight was awesome and all the exhaustion and weakness was gone once I saw mother nature in such a form. It was chilling out there. We were literally into the clouds and I Could see a bird’s eye view of Coimbatore, a part of Kerala and many smaller hills!!!
That was like……oooooohhhhhh my god……and my camera was never off….it was something I had never experienced…..Only the one who has reached can experience it… And I felt so soooo pity for the people who gave up at the end of 4th hill. They missed it.
And then while coming back it was just exhaustion and curiosity to tell all others how it was.
In the meanwhile we had forgotten we had office the very next day and our legs are gonna be in the worst of their forms….but then….all others who did not reach the peak were also gonna have that….So finally I reached my room at 8:30 and fell asleep at 8:45 and woke up at 7:30 the next morning….to find my leg in a painful condition..!!!!
But it was all worth it….
Do visit it once if u have the balls...

A JOURNEY TO THE MANCHESTER OF SOUTH INDIA!!!!!
Hi all......
joined bosch on august 18th. i was given Coimbatore as my joining location from 29th sept.I wanted the time to run as slowly as possible. But realised it's all in vain.
i slowly started preparing myself physically and mentally for coimbatore(COB-that's how it is called in bosch)
But my mind always hated to go to tamil nadu. can't speak tamil, can't vango-pongo-ukarongo with these fanatics. That's impossible for me.
Wherever i have been till now i was able to manage. i mean language was not a problem for me.
But trust me tamilians do not know a shit in english and hindi is not for them.
Me and Vrashabh were mentally preparing ourselves for the lungi-clad dark, moustached men and saree (or chudi) clad,dark,long-curly-oily haired ,typical tamilian bindi-ed gals.
We started looking and staring at every 'lil bit of beauty found in every gal in bangalore, coz we knew our fate in coming months!!!
and finally that day came, The 28th of september 2008, and it was time for me to bade good bye to namma bengaluru and come to tamil-nadu. And was a bit tensed and scared coz i dint know where to go in coimbatore and i dint know the language and i dint know anything about the new place i'm going.
I had wxpected all-tamil-people in karnataka itself but a bit closer to tamil border. But i got the first tamil-thunderbolt when i saw the bus board reading -COIMBATORE and i asked the driver to confirm "Saar!!! Coimbatore hogatta??"
The driver answered "aama saar...Vaango"!!!!!!! i was like...this bus is a tamil nadu in bangalore!!
and it was true.
everybody in the bus started speaking in tamil when they saw the only alien wearing a jeans...(or should i say not wearing a lungi!!)
after final messaging and talking with my friends a short-dark tamil conductor met me and asked me something in tamil (i seriously dont know wat that was)
and i said "COIMBATORE...eshtu saar" (the kannadiga in me was in ful form!!!lol)..he said two-thirty-five and the triumphant harsha started rejoicing!!!
i called my friend who had been to cob before. and asked her how was the road trip?? can i find some good things??
She replied "AWESOME!!!! the hills, mountains, greenery will catch ur eyes" and i was ready with my cam and all my concentration on the roads and outside the bus.
But minutes passed, hours passed nothing came. all that i saw was dry barren lands, dusty fields, wide express highway, pebbles, stones, boulders, rocks and stony mountains. I was half exhausted coz i wasnt mentally prepared for that.
and then some friend of mine had told me coimbatore is a good city. not as big as bangalore but is big enough to fill ur fun-appetite...and as i entered the city of coimbatore all that i saw was dusty roads, stinky slums,
smwlly drainage, and people everywhere :-(
i stood there in the gandhipuram bus-stand waiting for my friend and it took ten minutes for him to come.
Those tem mins were like ten yrs for me..auto ppl somin to me and speaking something, bus ppl comin too!!!
then lookin at my luggage my friend asked an auto-rickshaw fellow...lakshmipuram (with his hands acting fully) how much???
autowala: vango saar....aravandh rupa..(meanin 60 bucks)
raghu(my friend): too much...jaasti...
autowala: blah blah blah
raghu:50...50.....50 correct
autowala: 60 saar....correct
i said: ok...let's go...
and then i reached my home..an exhaustive journey to coimbatore came to an end. and my new life begins from tomorrow!!!!
but met few friends who were all kannadigas..about ten of them...so i can c a ray of hope...
The office of cob in the next post...
cya soon...hopefully :-(

A WEDNESDAY---A MUST WATCH FOR "A COMMON MAN AND "AN UNCOMMON MAN"
indian movies cant be imagined without songs,item numbers,long intervals(if u r in a theatre),
handsome strong hero, a hot sexy heroine, duets, fights and a few pot-breaking fight scenes...but
one movie stands out and has earns accolades from critics as well!!!
a completely different movie, properly shot, and finished in 2 hours before the movie viewer get's bugged.
yes, i'm talkin about the low budget,no khan-cast(read as khan-starcasted) movie "A WEDNESDAY"....
when many of my friends called me up and asked me to watch the movie i thought there is something in this. so one saturday i thought of
going to a wednesday with my family.
i wasnt sure of the quality of the movie but i trusted my friends.
and the movie began.
It effectively shows the stuff which was not shown till now in any of the movies.every terrorism-condemning movie either showed a hero who saves the people
or the anti-terrorist cell which works day-in and day-out to find the terrorists... but every director forgets to show the fury of a "STUPID-COMMON-MAN" (to know y i used this word u should watch the movie)
.....how do they feel when trains were blasted in mumbai, when bangalore was attacked,gujarath,delhi,jaipur,hyderabad....
hardly any indian metro-cit left un-attacked...how do we-the-people of india feel...we cant go out of home freely, i'm not assured of returning back safely once i go out...i dont know what my mistake is but i am killed....my children are killed...
my friends their families are shattered....and everything in a minute...
the words used by naseruddin shah are "koi ma**r c**d kyo tai karega ki mein kab aur kaise maroonga..." apt words i felt...
and no where u feel the movie is being dragged unnecessarily and nowhere u feel relaxed...
every minute is exciting...
now comin to the acting and direction...acting is superb..naseruddin shah, anupam kher(the police commissioner),
jimmy shergill(the furious ats cop) and another unknown fellow....acting is mindblowing...
and director has effectively proved that a movie can be made watchable without nude sultry babes, without sex,

4 YEARS..8 SEMS...COUNTLESS MEMORIES....ENDLESS EMOTIONS.....

COLLEGE BAKERY Thanks a ton ujji for the sketch
Hi all….
This blog is purely dedicated to sdmcet, my alma-mater, my college, my second home…..
Aahhh… I still remember the first day… the very span of 4 yrs was irritating…I was like “WTF….four years here???? Impossible….i’ll look forth for my destination….
My destination outta this college…my engineering degree…my temporary destination……”
When I listened to the song “hum joh chalne lage” song from jab we met I always thought and laughed at the poet’s stupidity when he said “manzil se behetar lagne lage ye raaste”….my question was, how can the happiness we get when we are moving towards our manzil be better than the happiness when we reach the destination????
Aaahhhhh….now I feel the feel of the poet….i feel that he’s right.
I feel the same feeling when I’m leavin my college..i still remember the day I said “4 YRS!!!! F***”…..I waited all these 7 semesters for 8th semester to come and get my a** outta this college. But ….but when I’m in 8th semester now…8th sem is about to get over… I’m about to reach my destination…the destination I’ve been waiting for these 3 long yrs….I feel sad…I miss each and every moment I lived in this college…
From the very first day when I had nothing but a few unknown naughty faces with me to the soulmates I got at the end of 4th yr I cherish every minute of it…ah…this journey is amazing….i will miss my college days.
I miss each and everybody who made it so special to me….The scoldings we got from Basti sir in maths class…he asked me, abhishek.M(mand abbya) and cecil to stand up…and yelled at us with full fury “BOTH OF U 3 GET OUT OF MY CLASS”…and we started rolling on the floor and was disgusting for the prof.!!!.....Basic electrical class was engaged by B.S.Shreesailan sir…his typical tamilian accent itself was funny..and above that the gems of our class …KARNA.HEGDE, ABHIJIT.UNKAL, GURU.KAMAT and JAFER.TADKOD troubled him to the core…and trust me they troubled him in every possible way..we even shouted revolutionary slogans (inquilab zindabad and vande mataram) in his class!!!!
Then came the branch entry….we were welcomed with a warm fresher’s party by our lovely seniors…tx to them….
In branch started our happy time…the real happy time…
I don’t think nagasundara sir’s classes have to be explained here….and how can I forget sridar sir!!! We had penultimate fun in his classes….hahaha….Navin shet was the man behind it…I miss him a lot…The time we spent in bakery after bunking the classes…the time we engaged in labs and projects…the time we spent in cultural stuff…and the sports room craze in 7th sem…SAMPA’s GAPline….ujji’s sketches….kodi’s 6 pack, chote’s PEPUSI…keerti’s heavy hand…sanjeev’s bidar accent…burchandi’s doubts…and the list goes on….i miss everything….
Aaahhhh…not one but many such soothing experiences which is bliss of solitude from now….which will stay with us forever…
Now I’m sitting on my study table with CNS book open….but not in a mood to study…and thinking of all the smile and tears we shared in 4 yrs….and I find my eyes wet….and I sing the song “……..haa manzil se behetar lagne lage ye raaste”

JODHA-AK(SUCK)BAR
Pls don’t mind if I swear out loud in this blog….i’m seriously pissed off….how can a man who treated us with lagaan bang us with a 4 hour hot shot?????
Yup………JODHAAAA-AKBAR!!!!!!!
One word to describe it ….SICK…btw did I tel u that I bunked the college to watch this movie?? Coz the classes were too boring to stop me from dozing off…but l8r I realized, classes were better…not just better…..a million times better than J-A….
In the first half I stared at my watch about a hundred times to c my watch rock steady….trust me…it wasn’t moving at aaallllll…..finally at the interval I almost spent all my money on potato wafers and cold drinks…I had enough food reserves to kill 2 more hours watching (errrr!!!) this movie…
One innocent question…wats there in this movie other than loads and loads of tanishq sponsored gold????
The director has bombarded the historical facts….the language is equally non-digestible and the formalities before baadshah….they drag the movie….and drag and drag!!!!!
Was it really necessary to adress Akbar as badshah-e-hindustan jalaluddin mohammed Akbar every single time??? And call jodhaa as mallika-e-hindustan rajput rajkumari jodhaa bai???Just imagine the time taken to cal the name…and every single time this is done!!!! I was like F***….were the people so sick in those days or the director is sick!!!!
Selected picks of the language used….Tashreef rakhiye (sit down), gustaki maaf huzoor(sorry sir), sazaa-e-maut(death sentence), azeem-o-shaan shehenshah (Donno d meanin), padhareeye(come)…..i cant remember the rest of the things!!!!thank god
Ahhh……altogether the movie is a package of boredom and frustration….even after reading this, if u wanna feel the kick of the movie then…all d best….be mentally prepared to take the torture..and all d folks who wanna watch in multiplexes!!!! U’ll find it more boring coz ther’s nobody to shout and entertain u!!!!!!
comments welcome

NATURE UNEXPLORED.........
______________________________________________________________________________
about a week ago my bro manjanna had planned a one day trip to a falls nearby...that is near yana (uttara kannada dist, karnataka state)
...we planned to visit the falls on 28/01/08.....ten of us were ready and were as usually excited....uttara kannada is a land of forests..blessed by the mountains of western ghats and the dense forests, it is a land of many waterfalls.
the major rivers are sharavati, aghanashini et al.
we planned to go to VIBHOOTI FALLS. a falls situated amidst dense forests 8km away from the famous yana....
the road to falls is too narrow and over that, the tourism dept is planning to improve the road. so few JCBs and a few hitachis are busy moving the earth which made our vehicle more and more shaky. our vehicle was wxperiencing a tough time in the dusty roads and our noise was disturbing it as well!!!!
finally after a journey of about 90 minutes from sirsi we reached VIBHOOTI FALLS.
to reach the water we had to walk for about half a kilometer....but the gushing water was alarming us about it's force from about 200 meters.....
well......after the 500 metre walk e reached the falls!!!!!!!!
i yelled out "oh my god...man is so tiny in front of nature"
it was a waterfall in between to rocks...and one rock was made up of limestone (and hence the name vibhooti falls)...
it was like a white strip amidst 2 black giants....
the falls doesnt fall from great height (like jog and unchalli falls) but has made many steps in her course....
nobody can die here cos of water...or due to inability to fight the force of water....cos every few metres u can find boulders which are there to help u out.....but hey....if u attempt a dive then these boulders turn fatal....
we thought of reaching the source of the falls (infact a tough decision)...it was seriously a tough task to do coz we had to literally climb the cliff and the only aid was few roots of some old trees...
and if u think ur woodland or any trekking shoe will help u out then pls rethink....
but our barefoot really helped!!!!!!!we reached almost on the top....about 200 feet above the ground level and trust me....it was scary...
i tried to go and challenge the stream of the falls....but the water was too cold (about 5 degree celcius) cos the sun hardly reaches the water....and the force of the water was something beyond my strength..
But i tried to do that and started shivering..ohohohohohohoh ghghghgooodddhhhh was what i shouted ...but i was tryin to shout oh god..!!!!hehehe....yes the water was that cold...
now it was the time to swim!!!! cold water swimming is really good but is makes u shiver from the bottom of ur ass....trust me it does....
but after a while we could heaten up our body cos swimming is a gr8 exercise....it's a bit deep but not dangerous at all...so swimming is an easier chore as compared to mountain climbing....
after an hour of swimming it was time to eat....we had a nice scene when manjanna was about to drown!!!! but as i've already said it's not the place to die(by drowning ofcourse!!!!)
pradeep and his fiance slipped and fell in water, which was too too tooooooo funny to watch...i was rotfl!!!!
we had lunch and left for sirsi...
thus our nice trip came to an end...
i seriously dont want the tourism dept to develop it cos this is the one of the very few places left unexplored!!!
no plastics..no guest houses..no guides narrating false stories...no hotels and no concretization....
but what upset me was even this place had some plastics lying and some shattered beer bottles....when will the man realise that nature is his mother..
and it's his responsibility to protect her....
but i realised......"MAN IS SO TINY IN FRONT OF NATURE".....
wanna visit vibhooti falls???????
go ahead...
it's about 8 kms from yana....
u have to reach yana via mattighatta......go ahead for 8 kms.....u find hegdekatta....and from there u ask any manly being ...
he'll show u the way...
but please be safe and dont use plastics there....
comments welcome...

VEDAS....-ocean of knowledge.....
Vedas, Anatomy and Medical Sciences
Our present knowledge of the nervous system fits in so accurately with the internal description of the human body given in the Vedas (10,000 years ago). Then the question arises whether the Vedas are really religious books or books on anatomy of the nervous system and medicine.
The word for human body in Sanskrit is Deha and Shareera. Deha comes from Dahyati which means consumed by fire and Shareera is derived from Shara which means that which will decay. Hindus Buddhists and most modern Europeans and Americans cremate the body after death and most Semitics bury the body which decays after some time. Thus in lighter vein we can say that the Hindus, Buddhists… have deha and the Semitics have sharira.
The word for heart in Vedic Sanskrit is “Hridaya”. It is made of three parts - Hri, Da, Ya. Hri comes from Harati which means to receive, Da is short form of Dadati which means to give and Ya stands for Ayati which means to go, to move or to circulate. It is amazing to know how the Vedic seers coined this word since heart has only these three functions. Millenniums later William Harvey in 1628 A.D. was the first European to discover the circulation of blood.
Plastic surgery performed today in the most modern hospitals is similar to the one performed by Sushruta 3,000 years ago. Early Hindu doctors knew bone setting, arresting of blood flow, cataract operations, cure for most ailments and so on… Yogasan and meditation which are very ancient, are sought by over 10% populations in America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
well...this is what the power and knowledge on india is....any comments pls go ahead..

Indians Abroad......
Laxmi Niwas Mittal has climbed the ladder to become the richest Indian in UK and the third richest in the world. Shrichand Hinduja and Swaraj Paul are some of the other richest ten men in UK. Indian community in Hong Kong, Thailand, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and most European countries are among the richest on the basis of per capita income. Google Inc founder-director Kavitark Ram Shriram and Bose Corporation chairman Amar Gopal Bose have moved up the rankings in the Forbes list of 400 richest Americans. Mr. Bose and Mr. Shriram, who are now US citizens and worth $ 1.5 billion each, have beaten Robert William Galvin of Motorola, Robert Drayton McLane Jr of Wal-Mart and Roy Edward Disney of Walt Disney. Similarly Murli Kewalram Chanrai, Sudhir Gupta and Kartar Singh Thakral have made it to the Singapore’s richest 40 list compiled again by Forbes list. (Ref. Agencies [Saturday, September 23, 2006], published in Sandesh Bharati, Hong Kong, Vol. IX No.4, Oct / Nov / Dec 2006).
So from a small village view, we have progressed to a worldview. Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka celebrate Deepawali festival with declared government holidays and illuminating main streets. Parliament Houses in Canberra (Australian capital), Sydney, London, Ottawa and the senates House in Washington are lit up and Indian cultural shows are staged on the occasion of Deepawali festival. So much for the clout overseas Indians enjoy in these countries.

for the so called secularists.........
What Islam Wants: Let's Hear From Pakistan Jamat-e-Islami Leader, Maulana Nabiullah Khan
04 May, 2007
"Jamhooria Islamia", a monthly Baluchi magazine published from Panj-gar, published an interview with Maulana Nawabzadaa Nabiullah Khan, a confidant of and adviser to the Amir of leading Pakistani Islamic party, Jamaat-e-Islami, Maulana Qazi Ahmed, which was conducted by Jalil Amir. The following constitutes are excerpts from that conversation which reveals the fundamentalist ideology and designs of the organisation and its leader .
EQUALITY OF MEN AND WOMEN IS STUPIDITY
Q: The women issue is very controversial nowadays. Taliban and some fundamentalist organizations restrict the freedom of women while some progressive Muslim intellectuals are insisting that the women are equal to men in all spheres. What are Qazi's views on women?
A: As I said earlier, the Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) views on women are the exact views of Qazi Ahmed and the Jamat. Equality of men and women is stupidity. What men can do, women cannot do. Women are weak physically and mentally compared to men. Men have to take care of women all the time.
WOMEN MUST STAY HOME
Women should not have a life outside the family. Education can be provided to them, but not to compete with men in public.
NO VOTING RIGHTS FOR WOMEN UNDER SHARIA
Qazi had said once that when JI comes to power in Pakistan, he will abolish the voting rights of women and minorities. Only the Muslim men can participate in voting or standing for elections. When I asked the proof from Hadiths, he had quoted many Hadiths in support of that. I asked him why is it that it is never talked about openly in the public by the Jamaat? Qazi had said that the hints are all over the place. But JI did not make it a big issue since the women who currently have the voting rights may vote against JI in the elections if such a thing is said openly.
NON MUSLIMS IN MUSLIM COUNTRIES MUST PAY JIZYA
Q: That brings us to the question of minorities. Will they have to pay Jizya tax?
A: Yes. They have to pay the tax. As explained by Qazi Ahmed , the idea of Jizya is not protection money. But it is a monetary force on the non-Muslim to convert to Islam. Once the Jamaat comes to power, the minorities will be induced (forced) to become Muslims either by monetary or psychological factors.
ALL INDIAN HINDUS WILL BE CONVERTED INTO ISLAM
JI is already equating India with Hindus so that the Hindus of Pakistan will be forced to become Muslims. This was a very successful strategy during the Babri Masjid riots. JI was actively involved in destroying the Hindu temples in Punjab and Sindh. We ordered the destruction of the Hindu family property too. But our main aim was to destroy the Hindu temples. We wrote in the JI pamphlets that destroying each pagan temple makes a Muslim move closer to the heaven of Allah. We used the Hadiths in all the pamphlets. Babar destroyed the Ram temple in Ayodhya because he was a true believer. The same way, every Muslim should take it upon himself to destroy the Hindu temples in Pakistan. O! ur idea was to encourage the Muslims of India also to destroy the Hindu temples in India. But this was not met with much success since the Hindu police in India started attacking the Muslims who were doing Allah's duty.
Q: What kind of government does JI envisage for Pakistan?
A: It will be the Sharia government. Sharia will be made our constitution so that the eminent Muslim scholars who had completed the schooling in Madrasas will be appointed as the Judges in every court. Qazi wanted to make the presidium on the same model as the Khalifa. Presently our idea is that the entire top leadership of JI as well as all three military Generals will be part of the presidium for which the Qazi will be the Khalifa.
OUR MOTTO IS CONSTANT JIHAD
Our motto is "Constant Jihad". The idea is to keep Pakistan in a constant state of Jihad all the time. Qazi's vision is that Pakistan will be! the centre of the new Islamic Empire that stretches from Burma to Afghanistan and from Srilanka to Tajikistan including Kashmir
Towards that end, the Jamaat will use all tactics from terrorism in the kafir-controlled areas to negotiations in the Muslim controlled areas. Already the Jamaat leaders of Bangladesh and Jamaat leaders of India have accepted the primacy of Pakistani leadership in this regard.
SRI LANKA AND BURMA WILL BE PRESSURIZED TO CONVERT TO ISLAM
Q: What about Srilanka and Burma?
A: Both are Buddhist nations. For that matter even Baluchistan and Afghanistan were Buddhist once while Sindh and Punjab were Hindu earlier. Buddhists are generally weaker in matters of faith. Hence we hope they will become Muslim with a little pressure. But that will happen only after Jamaat conquers first Pakistan and then India.
Q: What are the plans for India? It looks like the entire India policy of the Jamaat revolves around Kashmir.
A: Yes that is true. But that is for a very good reason. See Kashmir is like a keystone that sits on top of the arch. It is true that the arch holds the entire weight of the keystone. But if you remove the keystone, then the whole arch falls down. That is why it is called the keystone. Kashmir is the keystone for India. Once you remove that, then India can no longer be secular and it will not be a united country either. Once Kashmir is taken out, these militancy movements will break India by asking the similar freedom for Nagaland, Kerala, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Assam, Jharkand, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Khalistan.
INDIA WILL BE MADE A 100% MUSLIM NATION
Q: Coming back to the same point, if India was to become many countries, how do you deal with the individual Hindu States? They may even become big enemies of Pakistan. Or they may again re-group to challenge Pakistan.
A: Given the differences between the nationalities in India, the options for Pakistan are endless. Qazi's vision is to make the entire India a 100% Muslim Nation. A United India, where Hindus are majority is an impediment to that. Like Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) made Muslims out of pagans of Arabia, Qazi also wants to make Muslims out of the pagans of India.
Q: This is a great vision since this was not even possible for the Muslim dynasties and Moguls who ruled India for the last 700 years.
A: True. That is because they had never really established the Muslim Empire. Though the Kings were Muslims, they had entertained the Hindus in positions of power. When you make an unequivocal statement that only Muslims are voters and declare that India is an Islamic Republic, then automatically the people will become Muslims. Little bit of terror had to be applied to the heart of Hindus and Christians. I will give you a best example. The portions which now constitute Pakistan had 25% Hindu population before Independence.
TERRORIZATION IS THE BEST CONVERSION TOOL
After Independence, a lot of Hindus migrated to India. Yet after the migration, the Pakistani Hindu population was 15%. Do you know what is the percentage now? It is less than 1%. How was this made possible? How did the Hindus convert to Islam in a short span of 20 years whereas for 700 years they had never converted to Islam? That is purely because of the terror of the Partition.
That terror forced the Hindus who remained in Pakistan to become Muslims. Pure and simple. JI used similar techniques in Punjab and Sindh. Each time a riot breaks out in India, we had used that pretext to strike terror among the Hindus, Christians and Ahmaddiahs. The similar terror will be at the heart of every non-Muslim, both Hindu as well as Christian, in the coming years in the entire of India. PRPOHET SUCCEEDED WITH TERROR SO CAN WE Qazi is an analytical genius who knows every strategy that was used by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and which will be and should be used in India to achieve the total submission to Allah.
Q: Do you envision a possibility that when Kashmir becomes part of Pakistan, there could be large-scale riots in India against Indian Muslims? Hence unwittingly Kashmir could lead to more deaths of Indian Muslims and damage Islamic Ummah.
ANY MUSLIM ASSOCIATING WITH A POLYTHEIST BECOMES A POLYTHEIST
A: Yes that is a possibility. But our ideology is based on Quran and Hadiths. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in numerous Hadiths and Allah in Quran had said that any Muslim who associates with a polytheist is a polytheist. Muslims cannot be friendly with a non-Muslim. This includes the Christians, Jews and Hindus. Also Mohammad (PBUH) says that even if the Muslim ruler is not good, the Muslims stay with the ruler rather than go out to a non-Muslim country. Hadiths and Quran are very explicit regarding this. All the Muslims who did not migrate to Pakistan during Partition are in essence Hindus. They may think that they are Muslims. But not before Allah.
They are as self-deluded as the Ahmaddiahs who think they are Muslims when everyone knows that they are not Muslims. Hence the Muslims of India who had decided to stay in India during Partition are not Muslims and their progeny are not Muslim (since they did not migrate to Muslim lands).
Another thing that I noticed in my journeys in India is that the Hindu farmers generally offer their entire harvest to their gods at the end of their harvesting season. This makes the entire crop as haram for Muslims. Yet these so-called Muslims of India are forced to eat this food which was already offered to some other God other than Allah. This is explicitly forbidden in Quran.
MUSLIMS GOING TO NON MUSLIM COUNTRIES TO SETTLE DOWN ARE KAFIRS
And this is one of the serious problems of living in non-Muslim countries. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) knew such things; that is why he ordered Muslims not to live in non-Muslim areas. Yet knowingly these so-called Muslims live in India. AGAIN ALL THE MUSLIMS WHO MIGRATE TO OTHER NON MUSLIM COUNTRIES AND US ARE NON MUSLIMS . Only the Muslims who intend to come back are Muslims not the ones who decide to stay in such countries. Hence we do not care if such Indian Muslims die in the riots.
But due to strategy reasons we do have excellent relations with these Muslims. All the Muslims who work for Pakistan and for the glory of Ummah are real Muslims. They are our front line troops in non-Muslim countries. Hence we have to distribute the arms and ammunitions to these real Muslims in case riots come to their door.
The Kashmiri Muslims are pure Muslims who are toiling under the yoke of Hindu rule. They are victimized by the international conspiracy to keep them under the Hindu rule. That issue is part of the incomplete Partition, whereas the Indian Muslims have accepted Partition and stayed on in India knowingly.
JAMAT WILL BRING SLAVERY BACK TO PAKISTAN Arabians own slaves. Though Allah says that the slaves should be treated in a nice manner, he did not advocate the abolition of slavery. If slavery is bad as considered in today's world, Allah certainly would have said that slavery is wrong. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) also said that the slaves should be treated in a good manner and the slaves should be released often. But if there is no slavery, how can anyone release slaves? Hence the re-introduction of slavery in Pakistan is one of the future plans of the Jamaat.
ALL CAPTURED HINDUS WILL BE MADE SLAVES
All the captured Hindu Indians and Srilankans will be made slaves to work for Pakistani Muslims. Every God-abiding Pakistani Muslim will get slaves once we conquer India. All the slaves who embrace Islam will be set free. Slavery is Islamic. Jamaat is the only political party, which does not voice any opposition to the slavery in Pakistan. We went around all over Arabia. We were surprised to know that there are some Hindus in Yemen. These ancient Yemeni Hindus are not Indians. In my opinion, these Hindus are traders from India in the ancient times. I was also surprised to know that they have a Shiva temple in Yemen. Qazi was very unhappy over this. When he talked to the Yemen leaders, he broached this subject. But the Yemeni leaders refused Qazi's suggestion of forced conversion of these people to Islam. I don't know why they refused. I think it may be due to the large population of Hindus from India who work in Yemen and Arabia. He disliked the current leadership of Arabia for this reason.
In his opinion, Arabia should not allow any non-Muslim into the holy lands of Arabia. Arabia should be 100% pure. A large number of Hindus in Arabia is corrupting the Arabians. Though they live as contractors, they have the potential to corrupt the minds of the Arabians.
HINDU TEMPLES POLLUTE MUSLIM LANDS
One such thing is the presence of Arabians in the Qatar Hindu temple. First the king allowed the Hindus to build a temple and church in the holy lands, thereby polluting the Holy Land. Second is that even a member of the Royal family visited that temple to inaugurate that temple. To the horror of Qazi, he had learnt that one of the powerful members of the Qatar Royal family is a devotee of a god called Aayappan. This news resolved Qazi to fight the force of the devil thousand fold.
Q: Such things happen in Pakistan today. I mean a friend of mine goes to a Hindu temple. Another friend goes to church meetings.
A: Yes. One of Qazi's relatives wanted to become a Hindu. He did not have a child for many years and it seems he had prayed to a Hindu God and got the child. Hence he felt thankful to that god and wanted to become a Hindu. Qazi got to know of this and called him and threatened him with dire consequences. That relative did not become a Hindu. But that incident made Qazi read more about apostasy.
PUNISHMENT FOR APOSTASY IS DEATH
Quran and Hadith clearly say the punishment for abandonment of Islam is death. Since Sharia is not the law in Pakistan, and the current Pakistani Constitution grants the right to change religion, it is legally correct to declare oneself as Hindu or Christian. But once the JI takes over the government, it will make Sharia as the Constitution. Then Pakistan will also legally execute any person who leaves Islam and joins Ahmaddiah, Christianity or Hinduism the same way Iran and Taliban treats its apostates. He also opined that the presence of the Hindu temples in Pakistan is the root cause of the problem and hence we want to destroy all the Hindu temples and Churches in Pakistan.
Q: This brings us into another area. Right now the Internet is becoming widespread. Even Saudi Arabia is connected with the outside world. Destroying the temples may be good, but how can we insulate the Pakistani and Muslim people against the corrupting knowledge totally?
A: JI had taken a principled stand on the matter of science and religion. Religion is far superior to science.
ALL THE WORLDS KNOWLEDGE IS IN QURAN AND HADITHS
Whatever man needs to know is in the Quran and Hadiths. Knowing more will create problems like the Atom bomb and Television.
MUSIC TV AND PHOTOGRAPHY ARE SATANIC AND HARAM Quran and Hadiths are explicit in denouncing pictures. Yet the lure of Satan in the form of photography and television is eating our lives.
Music previously was confined only to the vocal singing. Now science and technology made the music widespread at a cheaper price. These are the lures of Satan. We have to be on guard against these harami things.
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ARE BAD FOR CIVILIZATION
Hence, more science and technology is bad for the civilization. I had completed civil engineering. Hence I am privy to scientific knowledge. I can tell you how corrupting that is. It even makes you question the glorious Quran.
EARTH IS FLAT There are many Hadiths, which say that the earth is flat. But any science will tell you the earth is a sphere. But you can use the same science like the relativity theory to prove that the earth is flat. It is the same case with evolution. But the point being that doubt is sown in the minds of the people on the validity of the Quran as the word of God. More and more we work hard to prove the Quran's scientific correctness, more and more people will get apprehensive of the truth of the Quran. This is an abomination.
WHEN ISLAM TALKS OF GET EDUCATED IT MEANS QURANIC EDUCATION
This is why when we talk of education, we talk of religious education and not scientific education.
It is true that science grew after the Prophet's revolution in Arabia. That was the start of science. Now each and every science is filled with anti-god stuff. If you want to become a doctor, you have to read evolution. If you have to read any engineering, you have to believe in the billions of years old universe theory which effectively says that human beings came to the world only just one or two million years back.
Q: But we still need the arms and knowledge of the Western world, which believes in science. And again you had referred to television as evil. If we abolish photography how can we have passports or identification cards?
A: Yes. That is strategic. With the help of Allah, we will be given oil for them to run their cars and we will have arms in that place. We will use their arms to destroy them in the course of time.
PHOTOGRAPHY WILL BE BANNED UNDER JI
As far as photos are concerned, they will be banned as it was done in Afghanistan under Taliban. If there is no need for people to go out of Pakistan, where is the need for the passports? For those who have to travel to other countries like the leaders of the revolution, they only will be given the passport with photos. For that, we will allow limited photography licensed only to the government. And the biggest corruption in today's Pakistan is Indian satellite TV and Indian cinemas and Indian songs. We have to abolish these too.
ARABIC WILL BE MADE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF PAKISTAN
Q: Currently we have a lot of opposition from Mohajirs regarding reservations. What kind of reservation policy will the JI will have in Pakistan?
A: We approach that problem as the problem of language. Urdu-speaking Muslims and Sindhi-speaking Muslims are fighting now. We plan to abolish all the regional languages like Pashto, Sindhi, Baluchi, Urdu, Punjabi and Brahvi. We want all the people of Pakistan to speak Arabic which is our divine language. This will make everyone equal before everyone else and there would not be any need for language or region based reservations. We also hope that this will make the Quran and Hadiths easier to understand and will make the people follow the Quran and Hadiths to the letter.
Q: There could be language riots. One such language riot resulted in Bangladesh.
A: Bangladesh was not a result of language riot. The very idea that they are Muslims will bring the Bangladeshis to Arabic. We already fund heavily the Arabic language courses all over India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. From Morocco to Iraq speaks in Arabic, I don't see any reason why from Morocco to Burma we will not bring Arabic to the people. Even Bangladesh will start speaking in Arabic. That time there won't be any Bangladesh where the country name itself has the name of the language. Yes. Right now our aim is just for reunification without touching on the language issue of Bengali. JI of Bangladesh is working towards this aim.
Q: The secular journalists of Pakistan oppose the JI. For example the Dawn and News are very critical of the JI. How do you see their role in the future?
A: Ardheshir Cowasjee is able to work only because of the present Constitution of Pakistan. When Sharia becomes the Constitution, he cannot even approach the court, as he is a kafir. We see secular journalists as our main enemy in the current struggle to reach power. These secular journalists are digging our statements we made during the pre-Independence days and trying to beat us. Of course we opposed the creation of Pakistan during the British times. But that was a different Jamaat. Our history starts with Independence.
SECULARS ARE KAFIRS
Secular journalists are not Muslims even though some of them are carrying Muslim names. Let them come to us and let us ask questions on the Quran and Hadiths. We will prove each and every thing we say is from Quran and Hadiths. Let them prove what we say as wrong from the Quranic angle. Then we will accept them. But they cannot. They cannot match us in any debate concerning the Quran and Hadiths. We can comprehensively prove that they are indeed non-Muslims.! They are like Quadianis who say that the Muslim need not take up Jihad as an obligation. That is pure nonsense.
Q: Thanks for your time.
A: May Allah's blessings be with you.

"and the World Cup goes to........."-- not a thrill anymore

Ahhhhhhhhh…..bored of OZ monopoly in cricket….oh come on….nothin is impossible in this world… if this is true why are the aussies unbeatable in cricket????
It’s not good for the game…..monopoly of a single team for over 12 years!!!!!! 3 world cups in succession is terrible….!!!! And four consecutive WC final matches is terrible again……
I’m getting bored of cricket(as if I was interested before….lolzzzzz)…
I got an interesting sms and ofcourse very near to reality…..
ICC is simply wasting its money on cricket…next WCs will have a grand opening ceremony and the next stage is the presentation ceremony of WC to OZs….!!!!!
A thing to be thought of.!!!!! Somebody pls mail icc officials to implement this…..
A big fuss on icc WC will be gone……..
And many more advantages v can see……..as u know WC always comes during exams..
So that simply means v r screwing up our exams for an international event (and v have a solid reason for that….exams come every year….where as WC is a once in four year guest…so more preference obviously!!!)
One thing…aren’t the OZs bored of handling the same WC everytime????ah…come on ponting….enough…..
But if one ponting goes there r 100 more pontings pointing to his position…..
Wats wrong with other teams????
Come on….
Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh
-a frustrated soul…..
