WHY TO ORKUT???????????????

It's era of orkut.........u'll be able to hear many pros and cons about orkut........but what i feel is orkut is an addictive stuff!!!!!!!!

new sms:"u can stop boozing and smoking but not orkutting!!!!!"

cool one as i found it.....but there r some things which i really appreciate about orkut...

• meet old friends....(i found one of my frnds who had played with me all the day wen we were kids.....he's in motorola now....)
• i can get so many info about the current facts and figures and the newly explored things...
• u find anything and everything in orkut....literally everything!!!!
• discussing any chapter or any tech thing is an easy task in orkut......anybody from anywhere can involve in ur chat.....seems great right?
• u can find testimonials.....it's writing all that u feel about ur frnd and even ur frnds can write about u............
• Best thing is.....all my seniors(cult team) r going......i miss them a lot......but how to be in contact?........aaaahhhhaaaaaa orkut is always there.....and thank god all of them are orkutteers......and some of them hav a community in their name!!!!!!!
• and it was through orkut that i came to know about blogging.....and so it's my way to serve orkut.........!!!!!!!hope orkut is hapy with this....

RESERVED FOR RESERVATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M BACK AGAIN......

This time it's time to discuss about the hottest topic in the country......
the one which has set the whole nation on fire......
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!i'm talking about reservations......when the whole nation is set affire(or "awwater"coz cops r using water cannons!!!!!)how can my blog be spared??????ok this is my opinion about the reservations....................

For more than 1000 years a group of people in india are supressed, tortured, harrassed, treated as untouchables, treated as animals(infact....animals were treated in a better manner....i've seen it myself now a days.....not long back...!!!!)dont u think friends that 1000 yrs of sin cant be confessed in 58 yrs............well i think so.......
you say killing the merit is the issue.......but how many merits have been killed and buried deep under the soil in these 1000(>1000 yrs) yrs? to name Dr.Ambedkar......what did we do? Dont u think it is killing of merit? did we care for them? But finally we still follow his rules.....he is the rule maker of the nation....................but............................

what did Ambedkar say? what did he do? and what did he write in the "Constitution of India"?he said reservations should be given to one member per family and then onwards his family will be out of reservation list.....and this reservation is to be given only for a span of 10 yrs..........but.......what are we doing? generations together 'they' getreservations......generations together 'they' eat,drink and study for free....and finally we pay for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..................
According to me the same thing should be brought into rule now.........that improves the condition of a backward class person and allows us to be alive...........
and reservations must be given to a person coming from a rural background and a person from economially unsound family..............that helps the society.........


The best thing in the present situation is..........
1) No student organisations are formally involved in this protest...(it's not done under their banner........)

2) i think it's Rang De Basanti personified!!!!!!!

3) mebbe it helps us to destroy the present Political system.......and make them understand that they cant take us for granted...

4)i think it's a new rennaissance in india...........

5)all of us are realising the importance of "vote"..........(i saw it in news paper yesterday...)

6) Finally i'd like to add one thing......
"Let us involve in active politics so that our opinions are considered....."

KILLING THE CREATIVITY???????

This blog is dedicated to the engineers being shaped under VTU(i dont know the fate of other universities....)

4 years....8 semesters....tight schedule....no time for extra curricular activities....no time to sleep.....no time to eat n enjoy........that's usually the fate of an engineering student under VTU.....the extra classes is what he eats....the most boring lectures is wat he drinks....the least internal marks is what he digests.......and finally a few number of backlogs..........and above all an overflow of tension in his 'beautiful mind'......and in the last year he gets a job in an IT industry and forgets the frustration...the tears...the tension...the night outs.....all that he has faced in 4 years(at least!!!!)........but doesnt realise that again in the industry he's going to work under someone who never cares of you.......who u r......where u r from and what u did as long as u r in the industry......all that he needs is a bull(effort) and a horse(speed)combined together(i'd call him a "borse")....u r given different diseases and a handful of salary at the end.......and we really enjoy it.....we love slavery!!!!

all that i wanna ask is why cant we start our own industry when we are trained here for 4 yrs to be leaders.....(that's what we r told..)....where has our innovation gone? where has our creativity gone? GOOGLE, Hewlwtt-Packard,sun systems and many more to name.....are the products of stanford university....why only stanford? why not VTU? why only a stanfordite can afford thinking this? why cant a person coming out from VTU?
well i've come out with some reasons.......1000 years of slavery has changed our ability to think new....has killed our ability to raise questions.....has killed the ability to oppose and win....has killed our ability to fight for rights...
as the british people said "we are introducing a system of education where we create clerks and nothing more.........a person who can work all his life for a salary and never speak and raise a question"......that system continues till today....

we are afraid of challenging the professor b'coz he has our internal marks with him....we cant question our HOD 'coz he can dismiss us from the college....
we cant question our university 'coz our degree is with VTU.....we are afraid of the things.....

what is the 4 yrs of study given us? according to me education is one which builds creativity and the ability to think in a person......is our engineering education doing this? if yes then y r we failing to lead? why do we work under someone? (read 5 pt someone.....the best thing i've learnt from that is the thing i'm discussing here!!!!)we feel proud to be engineers...but what are we really proud of? spending 50000 every year? or sitting in the a.c for the rest of the life serving someone?or the way we have spent the 4 yrs of our life struggling to score a single mark? or anything else???????

they say that China,Japan,Singapore and some other nations, the core commitee in their govt cabinet is a group of engineers....its they who plan the infrastructure,it's they who build the nation.......but what has happened to the nation who has produced and is producing the best engineers? why are we strugling for a job which fetches us nothing but a heavy bank account?

finally i'd like to say that it's high time for us to join hands together and start something new where we are the masters and we are the leaders....only the leaders can lead the nation and help it reach new heights......only then it's possible to make APJ Abdul Kalam's dream, to make India a developed nation by 2020, come true.

Let us say whole heartedly and in unison "param vaibhavam ne tume tat swarashtram" ........

think about it.......think about IT....

saree day n tie day on 11/5/06

oh........awesome.......
it was fun week in college and every year most awaited and exciting day is saree day-tie day(sarees for gals n tie for guys.....i've got a friend who mistook it as gals wearing ties on sarees!!!!!!). all the cams of college were in the campus.click n click was the only scene.And the college never looked so colourful....!!!
Gals in sarees struggling their best to walk normally was a casual sight!!!and the best thing was everybody enjoyed it....all of us in our class(except a few....every law has an exception!!!)were in tie/saree......and some of them look really cool......and some others hot to the fullest extent(boiling point!!!).
And.....i was in tie for the first time in my life(ah!!!i used to wear tie in my school days, failing which, made me face some nice kicks n slaps!!!!)

i saw all my cult team in the "dress of the day"(dod henceforth...).....bomb retained his name as usual!!! mallik was lookin better......mamta snatched roses from all of us(it was rose day also..)and gathered quite many number of roses...
kaka was seen with a rose (may be he was searching for kaku!!!)and he was caught on cam......pic came out so well that it inspired us to create a community in his name in orkut!!!!(community name:- "majnu kaka" can visit to check out the pic!!!)....
harry,savanur,MANJI(cant 4gt him !!!(visit community"we love sharath manjithaya" in orkut)),subbu,pooja,shree,ro, all were lookin too good......megha was special attraction(first time i saw her rolled in a saree...that too in green which i hate the most..)

now in my class....................oh...the best was vijaya patil....the nose ringed gal...always busy with her cell(i bet....she'll die if u snatch her cell...!!!)and priya.k was next best....
all others were good.....guys...i wanted karan bhat and pravin.gokarn to be in ties but they were in their usual hangouts.....
pavan koti turned out to be the usual "shri krishna...."u can find his snaps wid all the gals of our class.....wait,.......not only our class but almost al the gals of all the classes!!!!
that's it......we enjoyed a lot and the most astonishing thing was nagasundar sir engaged his class for only 30 mins!!!!, which was a mission impossible till now....we made it possible( many toms in my class....). and that's all about saree-tie day....i'll upload some more pics in a few days..

CLASS DAY CELEBRATIONS........

HI ALL........NEW FELLOW IN BLOGSPOT......SO LET ME TRY OUT WITH THIS.......

TODAY WE HAD CLASS DAY....IN OUR DEPT...
I FOUND SOME OF THE BEST THINGS I CAN FIND.....
LEMME TELL U ONE BY ONE...
THIS IS HOW CLASS DAY OCCURED........"TIME"CONSTRAINT WAS KICKING OUR ASSES AS USUAL....

2:30 PM.....SCHEDULED TIME FOR CLASS DAY TO BEGIN....BUT AS WE R IN INDIA WE HAVE TO FOLLOW INDIA STANDARD TIMINGS....SO WAS A BIT LATE(BIT LATE=15 MINUTES LATE)......SO NO PROBLEMS....
STARTED OFF FOLLOWING THE TRADITIONAL FORMALITY OF SDM(WE CALL IT SDM-CULTURE!!!)....AN INVOCATION SONG...WHICH WAS NOT AS BAD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE....!!!

NEXT EVENT WAS "FISH POND"--WE HAD REALLY BIG FISHES THIS TIME......SO LEMME CALL IT "WHALE POND!!"
IT WAS REAL FUN FOR US...BUT ANYWAYS WE DID'NT GET THE TRUE ANSWERS FROM PROFS!!!(I'M TELLING THIS BECAUSE SHRIDHAR SIR WHEN ASKED "R U A MASTER OF MICRO PROCESSORS....SAID YES....." TO TEST HIS SKILLS AND TO CONFIRM THAT I'M RIGHT....GO AND ASK HIM THE DEFINITION OF MICRO PROCESSOR-I'M DAMN SURE HE'LL NOT ANSWER FOR THAT...)BUT ANYWAYS WE ENJOYED IT A LOT...

NEXT ONE WAS ONE MINUTE GAMES....MOST BORING STUFF.....THE ONE WHICH DOES'NT MATCH AN ENGINEER'S DIGNITY...!!!TO NAME A FEW...WE HAD ...BURSTING THE BALLOON....LIGHTING THE CANDLES WITH ONE STICK....DRINKING WATER...OH...I DONT WANNA SAY MORE ABOUT THIS....I WANT THEM TO GROW UP!!!!

NEXT WAS THE ONE WHICH SURPRISED ME....SKIT BY OUR CLASS STUDENTS....WONDERFUL ACTORS THEY ALL R....I WAS STUNNED LUKING @ THEM....MANISH,KEDAR,MALLIKARJUN,GANGADHAR & MANDRYA PROVED THEMSELVES TO BE GR8 ACTORS....ESPECIALLY MANISH STUNNED ME....

NEXT WAS MY WVWNT...I WAS THE ONE TO CONDUCT "MASTER MIND -CSE"- A QUIZ.......SINDURA SUPPORTED ME....IT WAS REALLY GOOD......(OTHERS SAID)BUT I'M DISSAPPOINTED TO SAY THAT NOBODY IN OUR DEPT( I MEAN PROFS)R INTELS.....SAME WITH THE 4TH SEM GUYS...THEY ARE NOT UPDATED WITH THE LATEST NEWS....THE FIFA FEWER IS NOT ON IN THEM YET!!!!!THEY COULDNT ANSWER FOOTBALL ANSWERS.....REALLY POOR.......GOD SAVE THEM...AND ME(I'LL HAVE TO BEAR THEM FOR ANOTHER 2 YRS!!!!)

LASTLY WE WERE WAITING FOR DUMB CHARADES WHICH NEVER CAME COZ OF "TIME" FACTOR AGAIN........SENIORS WERE TO CONDUCT THEIR CLASS DAY AFTER OURS...BUT LATER THEY CANCELLED BUT WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO CONTINUE WITH DC....WE HAD PRACTISED A LOT FOR THAT......ALL IN VAIN....BUT WE PLAYED IT WITH GALS AND OTHER GUYS OF 4TH SEM LATER IN FRONT OF BAKERY......

NOW LEMME TELL U THE SPECIAL APPEARENCES OF TODAY..(BY THAT..I MEAN THE GUYS N GALS WHO WERE LOOKIN THE HOTTEST/COOLEST TODAY... )

1)MANISH. KOOLKARNI........FIRST TIME I SAW HIM WEARING SOME THING ELSE THAN A RADISH BOTTOM TROUSER AND A FORMAL LONG SHIRT.....HE WAS IN A KURTA....SO OBVIOUSLY IT SURPRISED ME...AND HE WAS LOOKIN GOOD.....

2) GANGADHAR DIXIT- WEARIN A SHERWANI HE WS LOOKIN SEXY.....

3) AMIT.KAPPATHNAVAR- MY BENCHMATE BUDDY.....WE CALL HIM 'GANAPATI BAPPA' COZ OF HIS GIGANTIC BELLY.......DONNO HOW HE MANAGES TO CARRY IT TILL COLLEGE!!!!BUT HE WAS LOOKIN GOOD IN HIS RED KURTA....

4) SINDURA- SHE WS IN A LEHENGA-DAWNI(HOPE THEY CALL IT SO---I DONNO IT'S EXACT NAME!!)SHE WAS MY COUNTER PART IN MASTER MIND.......SO WAS WITH HER FOR A LONG TIME....SHE WAS LOOKIN GUD....

5) SUSHMA.NADAGOUDA- WOOOOOW!!! SHE WAS GORGEOUS......SHE WAS IN PINK...I DONNO WAT THE DRESS IS CALLED...BUT WAS DIFFERENT...NOT THE USUAL ONE......I LIKED HER SMILE A LOT......A FULL FLEDGED COOL CAPTURING SMILE......(I'M NOT EXXXXXXAGGGGGGERATING).....

OK THAT'S ALL ABOUT THE CLASS DAY...
ONE THING I LIKED THE MOST WAS I GOT SOME NEW FRIENDS FROM 'B' DIVISION...(SOME GALS TOO!!!!!)AND ALL LIKED THE SHOW(INCLUDING SENIORS AND OTHER BRANCH STUDENTS)......SO FINALLY AFTER ALL THE EFFORTS "CLASS DAY WAS A GREAT SUCCESS".......YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

OK...THIS WAS THE FIRST ATTEMPT OF MINE TO BLOG........I'LL BE A PROFESSIONAL BLOGGER SOON.......
