VANDE MATARAM-the song which shook the british empire....

HI ALL...............'M BACK AGAIN WITH A SERIOUS TOPIC....

Friends,
At a time when there is a doubt about singing Our National Song, let us remember the different spirit with which our Bretherns at the time of National Independence Movement, had used our traditions and Cultural events. Remember, the festival of Rakhi was used as a sign of Hindu Muslim Unity when the British wanted to divide the United Bengal – and they had to withdraw the decision.
Similarly the song – Vande Mataram is just not a tribute to the Nation in the form of Mother but also a tribute to the people who felt like the way they felt, got motivated to sacrifice everything for the cause of Independence – SO THAT You and ME CAN HAVE A COMFORTABLE LIFE.
DO WE HAVE NO REGARDS FOR THEIR SENTIMENTS?
IF WE AS INDIANS HAVE REGARDS THEN WHY CAN'T WE SING THE ENTIRE SONG?

I LOVE MY NATION AND WORSHIP THOSE GREAT FREEDOMFIGHTERS AS NONE LESS THEN SAINTS FOR THEY CARED FOR OTHERS AND NOT FOR THEMSELVES. – A LANGUAGE THAT WE DON'T UNDERSTAND.
VANDE MATARAM IS THE POWERFUL CHANT WHICH ENLIGHTENED LACS OF FREEDOM FIGHTERS....
IT INSPIRED ALL OF THEM TO GIVE THEIR LIVES AND TAKE LIVES OF ENEMIES FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR MOTHER...
IT WORSHIPS BHARAT MATA AS THE ALL POWERFUL MOTHER....
IT IS THE SONG WHICH EACH AND EVERY PATRIOT WANTS TO LISTEN...ALL DAY ALL NIGHT..
IT IS THE SONG WHICH LITS EVERY HEART WITH A FIRE OF PATRIOTISM......
THIS IS THE BEST WAY OF INTRODUCING OUR MOTHERLAND TO ANYBODY..........
AND THATS WHY TILL TODAY ANY PATRIOT WILL GET MESMERISED WHEN HE LISTENS TO VANDE MATARAM........

BUT...

*WHY IS IT THAT SOME INSTITUTIONS ARE NOT READY TO SING THE SONGS?????
LET ME BE CLEAR........
*WHY SOME MADARASAS AND SOME CHRISTIAN LED INSTITUTIONS REFUSED TO SING VANDE MATARAM???

*WHY THERE WERE RIOTS OPPOSING THE SONG?

are they not the sons of this soil? if yes then y cant they sing this song?
why do you say it hurts the RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS? in what way does your religion objects u people being patriots?????

if, for you your religion comes first and then the motherland then u dont deserve to be in any nation mapped on the globe........
shame on your part...
u insulted lacs and lacs of patriots....
their holy blood....
my dear opposers let me make it clear to u that today u r in free india.....
breathing the clear air of freedom just because of their sacrifice....
and it's ur prime duty to respect them......
shame on ur part...
shame on u.....

Here is the Full song written by Shri Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and the English Translation of the Same by
Rishi Aurobindo. –

Translation by Shree Aurobindo

Mother, I bow to thee!
Rich with thy hurrying streams,
bright with orchard gleams,
Cool with thy winds of delight,
Dark fields waving Mother of might,
Mother free.
Glory of moonlight dreams,
Over thy branches and lordly streams,
Clad in thy blossoming trees,
Mother, giver of ease
Laughing low and sweet!
Mother I kiss thy feet,
Speaker sweet and low!
Mother, to thee I bow.

Who hath said thou art weak in thy lands
When the sword flesh out in the seventy million hands
And seventy million voices roar
Thy dreadful name from shore to shore?
With many strengths who art mighty and stored,
To thee I call Mother and Lord!
Though who savest, arise and save!
To her I cry who ever her foeman drove
Back from plain and Sea
And shook herself free.

Thou art wisdom, thou art law,
Thou art heart, our soul, our breath
Though art love divine, the awe
In our hearts that conquers death.
Thine the strength that nervs the arm,
Thine the beauty, thine the charm.
Every image made divine
In our temples is but thine.

Thou art Durga, Lady and Queen,
With her hands that strike and her
swords of sheen,
Thou art Lakshmi lotus-throned,
And the Muse a hundred-toned,
Pure and perfect without peer,
Mother lend thine ear,
Rich with thy hurrying streams,
Bright with thy orchard gleems,
Dark of hue O candid-fair
In thy soul, with jewelled hair
And thy glorious smile divine,
Lovilest of all earthly lands,
Showering wealth from well-stored hands!
Mother, mother mine!
Mother sweet, I bow to thee,
Mother great and free!
